Ethics & Morals: Debates in Chatrooms

Pardon whilst I ramble (which anyone from E.T. chat or Empire know I do. So sorry about my format, tis just the way I do it)… but something is bothering me.
We have all these people that run around harping on about aliens and the global governmental conspiracy to hide their existence from the population while never actually looking at what they preach. They preach that the government is hiding an advanced race from another galaxy that has visited us since humans first recorded history and life as cave drawings and ancient language. They harp on about how the "government" is doing this evil bad thing not disclosing the truth. Why would any human, no matter the numbers, be in control? Are people that scared of something superior to them that isn’t what they think of as a god and whatnot? The technology of such a race would be so astounding after a millennia of contact at this stage. Just think of the weapons they could develop over such time.
This bring me to the ethics part. When dealing with such content, it is easy to get caught up in what you think you know or believe, but no matter what your conviction, it is all theory; and as such, shouldn’t be forced upon those with differing views. It bleeds into respect and common manners, which are fading at an alarming rate these days. I often wonder if it ever existed in cyberspace. I remember a day in my early online years when people would post sites and research and whatnot to back what claims they were making and would give insight if they were speaking simply out of theory or belief and not automatically talking down or insulting those with opposing views. Now it seems the norm. Has society declined to such a level that a total lack of common respect for others is acceptable? I myself would like to think not but daily life tends to dictate otherwise. One must ask the question as to whether an alien race would want to openly interact with us after watching the way we treat each other. Just because this is a faceless medium does not give one the right to steal the views of others as their own or claim all knowledge on that which is theory for it is, just that theory. What I ask is that people pay attention to the way they act on the internet, for it quite often bleeds out into daily life and has the capability of either helping to fix things as a whole or further add to the contamination.
As far as alien life, in order to find any kind of truth you must keep a truly open mind. As Von Danikin said in so many words, the beautiful thing about the skeptic is that they are open to all ideas.
Peace and blessings to you all and sorry if it didn't make total sense.

Religion: The Papal Future

It is with great sorrow we at mabus mark the passing of a good and great pope, Pope John Paul II. Known as a traveling ambassador, he was a diplomat of peace. Though he let church dogma rule, he acted with love and compassion toward all humanity. He will be missed. May he be in our prayers.
According to the papal prophecies, there are but two remaining popes before judgment Day. Next to be elected is what latin defines as, "the glory of the olive." He could be a true man of peace. Finally is Peter of Rome. During, or perhaps after the reign of Peter, Rome will be destroyed and the day of Final Judgment will arrive.
I whole-heartedly advise people to learn how to be as children, and humble. The earth is a selfish den of ego caught up in prejudice and addictive behaviors. To break free we must live away from learned opinions and love our neighbors as another creation of God, or as ourself. We must break the addictions by learning to spite the selfish aspects and hating the thanklessness. Learn all you can of the true nature of reality, for the truth is written in many religions. I wish you luck in your journey back to God and to grace.

Paranormal Thoughts: Picking up the Pieces

Dealing with paranormal sightings on a vast level can certainly leave one changed. To comprehend the heaven's opening up and showing you a glimpse of something rarely seen by man, except in ancient religious texts, can indeed make one a bit unstable while trying to attain balance in a normal world based on bills and garbage truck fees.
What is happening in our world? Recently on Peter Jennings ABC Special UFOs seeing is believing for 2 hours on prime time television. A special was declared showing that people all over America were seeing strange craft in their skies. The elderly, your local law enforcement officer, as well as a recorded 911 call of an officer seeing a large triangle craft floating thru their small town.
What is happening? I know it is happening but what to do with it once you have obtained that information. Obtaining that information is the hard part, especially when such circumstances have made you a bit off kilter with normal society. One must hope that it is the best of mankind. That these beings are showing themselves to give us global consciousness about their whereabouts and that they are indeed among us. So much information in this age of technology. Seeing is believing no doubt. Just trying to pick up the pieces of understanding afterwards is where the conflict of man lies. Have you seen them? What do you think is happening?

Religion: Christian Trends

Maybe it is just me, but it seems that there are trends in Christianity in reference to class. Higher class and lower class individuals seem to be more spiritual than the middle class. Also, professionals seem to question religion much more than people of the blue collar class. Why does class play such a significant role in religion?
It is possible that people of the lower class look for salvation, something to save them from their strife. The high class may owe their status to divine right. The middle class is made up of those who worked hard to get to that status and tend to dominate our cities, where liberalism flourishes. Is it possible that the gap between the very rich and the very poor is actually caused my faith in God? Those that owe their luck to God owe it to faith, while those scraping plates to make ends meet have nothing but faith. On the other hand, the middle class owes nothing to faith, only human blood, sweat, and tears.

As stated before, Exiles Empire is conducting an experiment to determine if there is a relationship between psychic powers, the weather, and the full moon. The starting date of the survey is to be announced at a later date. The survey will require all participants to take part in an online survey daily for about two weeks. If you would like to participate in this experiment, please contact Nakquda.
